How to register a domain

Before you start

• You need a Zalveriq account. Checkout asks you to log in.
• Use your real name, email, phone and address. We send them to the registry as the domain owner's details.

Step 1: Search for a name

1. Click Domains in the top menu.
2. Type a name and click Search. Type a full name, like mybrand.com, to check only that name. Type only mybrand to check it with each extension that is turned on below the search box.
3. Choose the number of years from the menu next to the price: 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10.
4. Click Add to Cart.

Names marked Premium cannot be bought online.

Step 2: Check your cart

In the Domain Checkout Cart, you can change the Registration Term or remove a domain. Then click Proceed to Checkout.

Year one costs the first-year price. Each extra year costs the renewal price if that is higher. The cart shows the full amount.

Step 3: Enter your details

1. In the Registrant Profile box, pick a saved profile or choose Add New Registrant Profile.
2. Fill in every field with a red star.
3. Keep Save this registrant contact profile for future registrations ticked to reuse the details next time.

Postal / ZIP Code is required for extensions longer than two letters, such as .com and .xyz.

Step 4: Choose your currency

Your currency decides how you pay. To change it, click the flag and currency code at the top of the page. Choose a Currency, then click Save changes.

Step 5: Pay

You pay for one domain at a time. Other domains stay in your cart for your next checkout.

1. Check the Order Summary. It may show a Renewal pricing box with the price per year from year two.
2. Click Pay & Register Domain.
3. Finish paying on the gateway's page.

All payments are final. Pay within about one hour, or the order is cancelled and the domain is released.

What happens after you pay

• If the page says Payment Processing or Payment Verification in Progress, please wait. Do not pay again.
• We email you a receipt. Then we register the domain for you automatically.
• When the domain is live, we email you again. It shows in your dashboard under Domains.
• If automatic registration fails, your order is not lost. Our team takes over and emails you. In most cases this clears within one business day.

Free WHOIS privacy

WHOIS privacy hides your contact details from public WHOIS lookups. It is free, and we turn it on for every extension whose registry allows it. Some registries, such as .us, do not allow it. At checkout, the Order Summary shows Included Free or Not allowed.

Free extras with a new .com

When a new .com is registered automatically, we also add these at no extra cost:

• One mailbox, info@ your domain, with 100 MB of storage. We email the login details to your account email. Sign in at mail.zalveriq.com/sogo.
• The matching .xyz, such as mybrand.xyz, for one year. You get it only if that .xyz is free to register. Its WHOIS privacy starts off.

Other extensions do not get these extras. If our team has to finish your .com registration by hand, the extras may not be added.
