About this tool
The password is made on your own device. It is not sent to Zalveriq or stored anywhere, so you can use it for email, hosting or banking accounts.
How to use it
- Set the length with the slider. Anything from 8 to 64 characters works; 16 or more is a good choice.
- Turn lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and symbols on or off.
- Generate a password and copy it with the copy button.
What the results mean
- Length
- Longer passwords take far longer to guess. Each extra character multiplies the number of possible passwords.
- Character sets
- Using all four sets gives the most possible passwords for a given length. Some sites don't accept symbols; turn them off for those.
