About this tool
This converter shows an address as an integer, in hexadecimal, in binary and in octal, so you can match it against whatever your software prints.
How to use it
- Type an IPv4 address in dotted form, for example 192.168.0.1.
- Copy the format you need.
What the results mean
- Integer
- The address as one number, often used to store IPs in a database.
- Hexadecimal
- The same number in base 16, as some logs and packet tools show it.
- Binary
- All 32 bits, grouped by octet, to see exactly which bits a netmask covers.
- Octal
- Each octet in base 8.
